ASHTANGA

ASHTANGA | ASHTANGA 75

Ashtanga is a traditional series of postures done in the same order every time. There is a strong focus on the connection between the flow of movement and the breath, allowing you to harness inner energy.

 

Ashtanga can be practiced by all levels of student as guidance is given by the teachers in every pose.

YIN

YIN | YIN/YANG SOUL SESSION

Yin yoga is a slower style of yoga where asanas are held for longer periods of time - up to 5 minutes for some. This longer hold period allows for a deep release into the muscles and surrounding fascia. Props can be used where needed and much focus is paid to the breath. Verbal and physical guidance within yin is minimal, allowing students to decompress and quieten the mind and body.

 

Suitable for all levels of student as options given for all levels.

RESTORATIVE

RESTORE AND RESET

The aim of restorative is to relax into the asana gradually. Props are used throughout so that you are fully supported and verbal and physical cues are given. Expect to be in some asanas for up to 10 minutes - giving you time to decompress, reflect and restore.  The class will also feature self-administered acupressure with tennis balls to get into a deep myo fasica release.

Suitable for everyone as options are given for all levels.

HATHA

DEEP HATHA | HATHA FLOW

With hatha yoga you can expect to hold asanas for longer (up to 5 breaths) to be able to focus on a deep stretch and release for the body and the mind. The longer hold period allows for a more controlled flow of breath and connection to movement.

 

Suitable for all levels of student as options are given for all levels and abilities.

VINYASA

With Vinyasa yoga you move from one asana (pose) to another with a connection to breath to control your pace. Every vinyasa class and teacher is varied and some will include surya namaskar (sun salutations) and some won't. Some classes will have a specific body area focus such as Core Flow and others will work through a series of asanas to allow you to stretch and move into your whole body. 

 

All vinyasa classes are suitable for all levels unless otherwise stated in the class bio.

Clo's classes are a fusion of vinyasa with yin yoga, breathwork and meditation while allowing their clients own level of ability, experience and goals to inspire the style and pace of the class.

Amar began their Yoga journey  in Los Angeles 4 years ago.  Catch Amar on a Monday and Thursday evening in the studio. You'll leave each class feeling refreshed, a smile on your face and will be truly hooked!

JONO

Jono’s class makes you fitter, stronger, more flexible, confident and comfortable in your own skin. To provide a safe space where you can relax, unwind and challenge yourself. 

Don't miss Jono's classes on a tuesday morning at 9.30, wednesday at 6.30pm and sunday morning at 10am.

FLEUR

Fleur incorporates everything they have learnt from their teachers and teaches from a position of mindfulness and kindness. Fleur will be sharing their practice with you on a friday lunchtime - 12 to 1pm and mat pilates on a thursday at 10.30am.

NICOLA

In Nicola's classes you can expect an open environment where you can challenge and deepen your practice at your own pace, whilst still keeping a sense of humour and most of all, enjoying yoga. Nicola will be in the studio bright and early on a wednesday morning from 7.30am..

RAJNI

Rajni's classes combine creative sequencing, playfulness and a healthy dose of inspiration to help people deepen their practice. Rajni will be spreading the joys of yoga on a Friday morning at 7.30am. Come and experience the authenticity of Rajni's class and start your day right.

MADLI

Maldi is a supportive yoga teacher, ready to share with everyone, whatever their ability. Madli will be teaching twice a week at the studio on a Wednesday at 9am and Sunday at 11.15am - don't miss out!

PAM

Pam loves to teach hatha, restorative, yin and vinyasa. Pam's classes are mindful with lots of alignment prompts and options for all levels, body shapes and ages. Pam will be teaching restorative on thursday at 7.45pm but you will find Pam in the studio most days, keeping busy.

YUSTYNA

Yustyna is also a certified Ayurvedic-yoga massage practitioner who incorporates therapeutic aspects of yoga by facilitating students to allow the healing power of breath in mindful movement. Yustyna will be leading a 75 min ashtanga class on monday at 5.30.

Melissa is passionate about sharing their practice and strongly believes that yoga should be accessible to everybody. Melissa's classes are dynamic, yet accessible for any gender or level. Melissa will be teaching a mandala flow class every Monday morning at 9am.

FERNANDA

Fernanda's background as a dancer puts music, rhythm and flow at the centre of their practice. Their approach to yoga teaching is fun and mindful, yet challenging. Fernanda will be bringing energy to the studio on a Thursday and Saturday morning.

Elina firmly believes that yoga works for everybody. They encourage all students to ask questions and be curious about their practice, but also to dare to let go and surrender, to see what unfolds. Come practice with Elina on a Monday evening for 60 mins of beautiful yin yoga - the perfect decompress!
