ASHTANGA
ASHTANGA | ASHTANGA 75
Ashtanga is a traditional series of postures done in the same order every time. There is a strong focus on the connection between the flow of movement and the breath, allowing you to harness inner energy.
Ashtanga can be practiced by all levels of student as guidance is given by the teachers in every pose.

YIN

RESTORATIVE
RESTORE AND RESET
The aim of restorative is to relax into the asana gradually. Props are used throughout so that you are fully supported and verbal and physical cues are given. Expect to be in some asanas for up to 10 minutes - giving you time to decompress, reflect and restore. The class will also feature self-administered acupressure with tennis balls to get into a deep myo fasica release.
Suitable for everyone as options are given for all levels.

BIKRAM
YIN YOGA
Yin yoga is a slower style of yoga where asanas are held for longer periods of time - up to 5 minutes for some. This longer hold period allows for a deep release into the muscles and surrounding fascia. Props can be used where needed and much focus is paid to the breath. Verbal and physical guidance within yin is minimal, allowing students to decompress and quieten the mind and body.
Suitable for all levels of student as options given for all levels.
26 asanas and 2 breathing exercises across 90 minutes or 60 minutes. In the 90 minute class all asanas are completed twice, in the 60 minute class only some are done twice. The asanas are completed in a set sequence, designed to systematically prepare the body for the next position.
The heat in the studio is set to 42* - the addition of the heat enables you to build stamina, enhances flexibility and stimulates cardio-vascular activity.

VINYASA

With Vinyasa yoga you move from one asana (pose) to another with a connection to breath to control your pace. Every vinyasa class and teacher is varied and some will include surya namaskar (sun salutations) and some won't. Some classes will have a specific body area focus such as Core Flow and others will work through a series of asanas to allow you to stretch and move into your whole body.
All vinyasa classes are suitable for all levels unless otherwise stated in the class bio.

Cynthia first entered a hot yoga studio 10 years ago and fell in love with the dynamic yet considered practice of bikram. Fast forward to now and Cynthia loves guiding students through the sequence which brought so much to their own well-being.

Asena is a mat and reformer trained pilates teacher. Asena's classes are always fun, high energy and designed to strengthen into your core, back and neck. Asena is also qualified to teach pregnancy pilates.
Lynda first tried bikram yoga in 2008 and has never stopped developing their practice and love for yoga since. Today Lynda juggles their full time career as a lecturer with teaching bikram and inferno hot pilates.
